Republic of Uzbekistan, Flowserve, UzElTechSanoat, and Dynatec Sign Partnership to Transform Water Infrastructure
During President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s official visit to the United States at the invitation of President Donald Trump, leading American companies expressed readiness to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan in industrial modernization, energy, and technology.
A roundtable with major American corporations, investment funds, and financial institutions was attended by President Mirziyoyev and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick. This was followed by a ceremony to exchange bilateral agreements strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States.
An Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Flowserve Corporation (USA) for the modernization of pumping stations using advanced energy-efficient technologies—strategically important for Uzbekistan’s water management and industrial sectors.
Flowserve was represented by Dr. Karthik Sivaraman, Chief Technology Officer, who stated:
“Uzbekistan is regarded as one of the key partners of the United States in Central Asia. Current developments create favorable opportunities for deepening cooperation, especially in sustainable development, modernization, and energy security.”
A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, UzElTechSanoat Association, Flowserve Corporation (USA), and Dynatec (Uzbekistan), aimed at developing local service, engineering, and production capabilities and introducing innovative solutions in water management.

These agreements open new opportunities for implementing Flowserve technologies in Uzbekistan to improve energy efficiency, reliability of pumping systems, and reduce operational costs.
Dynatec, as Flowserve’s exclusive official distributor and authorized service partner in Uzbekistan, welcomes these agreements as an important step in developing the country’s water management and industrial infrastructure. We will continue supporting Uzbekistan’s industrial sector development, strengthening our strategic partnership with Flowserve and supporting the country’s technological modernization, sustainable development, and efficient water resource management.
Our commitment to Uzbekistan runs deep — we’ve been investing in people, technology, and local growth since 2018, growing together with the country. For us, localization is not a goal, but a shared journey built on trust and long-term partnership.
