Dynatec and Swagelok specialists’ visit to GTL Uzbekistan

Recently Dynatec and Swagelok specialists (Swagelok London, Swagelok Kazakhstan, Dynatec/Swagelok Uzbekistan) made a trip to the GTL plant in the Qashqadaryo Region, Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan GTL is a gas-to-liquids plant, jointly developed by Sasol, Petronas, and Uzbekneftegaz, which will annually produce import-substituting products of petroleum products and hydrocarbons totaling more than $ 1 billion or $ 12.8 trillion s’om.

During a three-days visit, our experts visited the facility, evaluated on-site systems and advised GTL on performance enhancements. Swagelok is an international leader in the manufacturing of gas and fluid systems components, such as tube fittings, valves, tubing, hoses and sale measuring equipment.

As a part of the inspection services, Swagelok provided a comprehensive inspection of the fittings being used on GTL site, made an introductory presentation of the company, and discussed with GTL’s specialists correct installation procedures, how to check fitting installations, incompatibility of different brands of instruments and risks this entails, etc. All issues that need addressing so as to get an optimal result.

Upon completion of the on-site services, GTL received a comprehensive report based on the inspection results, which identifies key issues and prioritizes recommended solutions.
